Chart notes
SPEED FIGURES set a clear pace along the rail and held clear under a drive. XY SPEED bumped with CLASSY WAR at the start, trailed inside, angled out in upper stretch and finished strongly to gain the place in the final strides. ESPERON chased the winner from the rail while well clear of the rest, tipped two wide in upper stretch, continued on the left lead in the lane, would not gain on the winner and lost second late. NIAGARA SKYLINE raced off the pace two and three wide and had a mild belated gain. CLASSY WAR bumped at the start, saved ground and went evenly. ACT A FOOL chased the pace two wide and lacked a closing bid.
