Chart notes
BIG BOLT roused through the chute, vied inside around the turn, shook free from outside rival leaving the furlong marker, unable to switch leads through the lane, dug in gamely for the victory. S S ISLAND FUN broke sharp, vied three wide into the turn, four deep pursuit into the lane, chased on well late, second best. HOLY BRICK hustled up out of the chute, vied between into the turn, no match for top pair leaving the sixteenth post, stayed on willingly for the show. CRUZIN VAN NUYS broke slow, pressed off the pace three wide around the turn, running on the wrong lead, had no late punch. CARMELIZED broke slow, chased inside off the pace around the turn, never threatened. S S RUNS FOR FUN trailed throughout.
