Chart notes
ROGER ROGER coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside down the backstretch and then along the inside through the turn, got set down spinning from the two path into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive and was kept to task to the finish. FATEFUL LIGHTNING four wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths marker, tipped five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. FROSTELLE chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under urging near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, ran on to the wire. MARBLE HALL broke out a step at the start, chased four then three paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, spun three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. POP GOES THE WIZ broke out a step at the break, chased four then three wide under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, weakened. CRUDE INTENTIONS chased along the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled three to four wide at the top of the stretch, faltered in the drive.
