Chart notes
KENNEDY'S CAMELOT stumbled at the start, rated off the pace down the backside, sent to the attack seven wide into the lane, wandered under heavy urging leaving the sixteenth post, rallied in time for the victory. MOONSHINE JOE battled for position around the first turn, under urging inside down the backside, roused on once again leaving the three eights marker, collared in upper stretch, dug in gamely through the final furlong, conceded grudgingly under the wire. VECCHI tracked the pace five wide into the far turn, on even terms between rivals through the final sixteenth, stayed on willingly to secure the show prize. DEW IT WITH CLASS broke in air at the start, chased inside around the far turn, under pressure from the sixteenth marker, flattened out to the wire. WILLIE T jockeyed back and forth, inside and out for position around the first turn, always under urging to keep pace into the far turn, came up empty through the stretch. WHY KENNY WHY saved ground, never factored.
