Chart notes
TUCKER FLATS rushed to the front to a pressured lead down the backstretch then matched strides inside of GRANDSONSAM to the eighth pole before pulling away for the win. GRANDSONSAM raced four wide into the first turn then pressed the pace from two wide down the backstretch before matching strides outside of TUCKER FLATS to the eighth pole and gave way grudgingly. CHI TOWN ROAD was away alertly to track the leaders from between horses down the backstretch then made a mild bid on the final turn but was no match for the top two. WRINKLE ROAD trailed the field around the first turn then moved up to contention from three wide, raced four wide into the stretch but lacked a late response. MASH ON THE GAS raced off the pace while saving ground down the backstretch then dropped back and was not a factor.
