Chart notes
RUNNINGONHIGHLEVEL chased four deep into the first turn, went three wide into the far turn, angled out and challenged the top pair, took over past the quarter pole and showed the way three to four wide into the lane, led under pressure from LOOKIN LIKE LUCKY in the final furlong and held well. LOOKIN LIKE LUCKY raced up close in the three path, challenged from outside then between rivals on the far turn, lost touch with the winner leaving the bend and angled to the outside, re-bid down the lane but lacked the needed final kick. LAO WAY showed the way in the two path around the first turn, took pressure from a pair of rivals on the second bend, lost command inside the quarter pole, weakened in the lane but was able to hold third. MARAVICH was forwardly placed on the inside, ridden along up the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and flattened out in the stretch. UTOPIAN TREASURE settled along the rail then went outside a rival, asked two wide around the second bend and failed to respond. KEI trailed two wide then found the rail, continued along the fence into the far turn, swung out leaving the bend and passed a tired rival. PREDECESSOR tracked from out of range on the inside, shifted to the two path entering the far turn, tipped out and came four wide into the stretch but came up empty.
