Chart notes
MISTER GRINCH broke sharp, widened the margin around the turn, held safe driving through the wire. DADIO broke alertly, pressed two wide around the band, chased on late, second best. TUP'S TO TAKE broke a step slow, cruised up along the rail into the turn, tipped out four wide for the stretch drive, rallied late for the show prize. MONKEY WRENCH bumped start, roused four wide leaving the quarter pole, running on the wrong lead through the lane, evened out to the wire. WISHFUL THOUGHTS pressed inside into the turn, put to task just off the rail leaving the quarter pole, altered course when TUP'S TO TAKE shut off his path leaving the furlong marker, had no late impact. THXLUVYABYE pressed between runners around the turn, lost momentum leaving the furlong marker, gave way through the stretch.
