Chart notes
KATMANDU broke sharp, quickly took control of the tempo leaving the first turn, unchallenged on a solo lead leaving the quarter pole, held sway driving for the victory. DIRECT APPEAL away in good order, tracked the pace just off the rail down the backside, two wide pursuit into the lane, chased on late, saved the place award under the wire. BLAMEITONTHEFUN saved ground mid pack, inched up around the far turn, worked out four wide through the lane, finished willingly for the show. BEJUCO tracked along the rail down the back stretch, slipped inside upper, improved position through the final sixteenth. RAGTIME SCRIBBLE very fractious in the gate pre-start, saved ground off the pace down the backside, came up empty late. BAD LINEAGE raced off the pace three and four wide, under urging around the far turn, had no late response. BIG JOE B slow into stride, roused off the pace four wide leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch.
