Chart notes
MIDNIGHT WARSHIP saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. EL MARRO was bumped at the start by THE PINK Z then chased MIDNIGHT WARSHIP racing three-wide, could not reach that one but finished well for second in a steady effort. CHIEF BUCKEYE settled in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. THE PINK Z broke out to bump with EL MARRO then was reserved off the pace, swung out to rally six-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten. CONDEMNATION saved ground while being allowed to settle and failed to be a factor. WILDCAT BILL showed brief speed from between horses and gave way. RAY'S EMPIRE prompted the pace racing three-wide, stopped before going a half mile while drifting out then was eased in the stretch and was removed from the track via the equine ambulance.
