Chart notes
AUTHENTIC COWTOWN vied with ORVILLE B for the lead from along the inside, dropped back slightly nearing the quarter pole then came again along the inside to gain the lead nearing the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. ILIKETHAT was forwardly placed racing three-wide and finished strongly. SWEET LEMON DROP was allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. ORVILLE B set the pace racing two-wide and weakened. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT was unhurried, rallied four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. OLLIE'S FOLLY was forwardly placed racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and tired. STONE COLD CAT raced in the back of the field, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to be a factor.
