Chart notes
MONTE AVI stalked from between runners into the turn, cut the corner shifting in past the quarter pole and bothering a rival, kept on dueling inside a rival in deep stretch and just got up. WINEGOLD pursued from outside, was ridden along three furlongs out racing three to four wide through the turn, bid past the furlong marker, led late dueling outside a foe but was outfinished. SO SPIRITED bumped with a rival at the start, settled outside at the back, moved out going four to five wide on the turn, bid in mid-stretch briefly putting a short head in front, lugged out at that juncture, flattened out. THE HERO CODE was hard to load then had an equipment adjustment behind the gate, bumped with a rival and steadied at the start, was urged forward shifting in and chasing inside, swung seven wide turning for home and passed a tiring foe. JAMAICA REDD was urged to the lead, set the pace inside, drifted into upper stretch, came up empty. MIDNIGHT MUSUME had the early lead but was soon overtaken, stalked the leader from inside foes, saved ground on the turn, checked sharply just past the quarter pole, failed to rally.
