Chart notes
NORWAY BEACH pressed the pace from two wide before taking the lead near the seven furlong marker while matching strides inside of BLAME DA STOOPS to the top of the stretch and drew off to prove best. BLAME DA STOOPS stalked the pace from four wide before engaging the leaders midway through the turn and matched strides outside of NORWAY BEACH to the top of the stretch but couldn't collar and was a clear second. LEVIATHAN AXE showed no early speed down the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and made a mild rally to be along for the show. CHI TOWN ROAD raced near the back while racing wide throughout and passed tired ones in the stretch. TOUGH TROOPER hustled to the front to vie for the lead from three wide to the top of the stretch but was no match for the top two and tired. GENERAL JIMBO was unsettled in the gate prior to the start then was roused to the front to a pressured lead on the inside to the seven furlong marker where he was overtaken and slowly gave way. This race originally had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
