EASY ACTION vied inside for the lead, shook free on the turn, drifted off the inside entering the stretch, responded when roused and held well under urging. THREE CAPTAINS raced two wide off the pace, chased on the turn, came two wide into the lane, rallied inside and finished well for the place spot. MAC DADDY TOO stalked the leaders early on, tracked inside on the turn, steadied at the five sixteenths pole, angled out, bid in the lane and was outkicked. MIDLANER raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, lacked a bid and weakened late. MISTER LINCOLN raced off the pace inside, went three wide past the quarter pole and failed to threaten. NANCY MADE MY DAY vied two wide for the lead, chased on the turn and faded. SHIPMAN was a late scratch after refusing to go to the starting gate.
