Chart notes
THAT'S SOMETHING was away alertly to go to the front to set the pace with a clear lead while fending off any possible challengers and proved best. VESTES settled in the middle of the pack down the backstretch then made a mild bid on the final turn while saving ground but lacked room until near the eighth pole then showed a late kick to be second best. PRINCE RAMA vied for the lead from two wide to the half mile marker but couldn't collar the leader and was outfinished late. BOURBON LIFE trailed the field by many lengths to the final turn then saved ground to the top of the stretch, shifted out to three wide near the three sixteenths pole and made a late charge but was too late and improved his position. ASPIRING COMEDIAN raced near the back down the backstretch then made a mild bid on the final turn but faltered. SHADOWLESS was off slow spotting the field a couple lengths early then moved to contention from three wide to the half mile marker then slowly faded.
