Chart notes
CAPOS SUGAR KANE assumed command at the outset, held her advantage while traveling well on the turn and edged clear under a drive in the stretch. MUSIC CLARIFCATION stalked the pacesetter, remained in contention on the turn, proved no match but dug in and held on for the place spot. JAVA TALES chased the pace while three wide, was urged to improved on the turn, moved four wide for the stretch run and kept on. EDGE OF THE BLADE raced forwardly between rivals and lacked a rally. AZAMI saved ground, was urged leaving the turn and offered no response. AVRIL was always outrun. LADY AHAVA off slowly, was outpaced while four wide, pulled up at the five-sixteenths marker and left in the equine ambulance.
