Chart notes
PORT ELLEN (IRE) was allowed to settled in the early going, started a run into the far turn then was four wide turning for home, was in a strong drive then bore in mid stretch and powered to the front and was best in the end. EXPRESSIVE LOVE set the early pace from the start, was well handled then drew off on the far turn and was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. REBEL GAL was stalking the pace while inside on the backstretch, saved ground into the far turn then bore out and was blocked off heels, rallied in upper stretch then was steadied off heels again inside the furlong marker, made a bid but hung in late stretch. ARIJANA'S PEARL chased the early pace while two wide on the backstretch, made a bid on the far turn then faltered in the drive. CHURCH PEW was unhurried early while inside then made a three wide bid in the stretch but was no threat. DUTTON STREET GIRL was unhurried early then failed to menace. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of REBEL GAL against the rider of PORT ELLEN (IRE) and EXPRESSIVE LOVE for interference in late stretch. A steward's inquiry was also held.
