Chart notes
PERFECT UNION hustled for the early lead, showed speed and dictated terms to the quarter pole, dug in to mid-stretch, held well to wire. LESLIE'S MOJEAUX stalked two wide to the quarter marker, battled to mid-stretch, kept at bay late, held for second. SHESABEAST tracked inside, waited for racing room nearing the top of the lane, fought on to mid-stretch, raced a bit in tight late but could not muster the needed final response and held safely for third. THE GREAT MAYBE settled to the turn, gained between foes and two wide nearing the quarter marker, angled out three deep at the furlong marker, flattened in the final sixteenth. MYIYLA settled mid-pack, coaxed four wide upper stretch, no final kick. DAWN AFTER DAWN broke out, shuffled start, trailed to the quarter, no factor late. WHISKEY BUSINESS crowded start, settled mid-pack, asked three wide upper stretch, tired in the drive.
