Chart notes

WHISKEY ALLEY stalked early on, hard ridden three wide near the three eighths pole and finished well to prove best under strong handling. SPINEMJOHNNY prompt the early leader two deep from the outside, dug in and kept on gamely to the wire. NILAMBAR dropped back early, raced three to four wide around the far turn and moved up to improve position. PERGAMON raced mid pack early, had an inside run and needed more. JOE G TWENTYTHREE showed good early speed along the inside and weakened the final eighth of a mile. CHRIST IS KING saved ground and had no response. MR CEFOLO trailed early on, raced four wide through the far turn and lacked a solid bid. CONSTANTINE raced near the back early on, saved ground through the far turn and failed to respond.
