Chart notes
THE SCENT , four to five deep around the turn, rallied on his left lead, took command near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. MOM SAYS sped to the lead soon after the start, remained near the rail, went clear on the turn and gave way grudgingly. NABERS , behind a wall of horses leaving the backstretch, swung to the six path straightening out for the drive and rallied. FLEET OF FLAGS prompted MOM SAYS and weakened the final furlong. NARIZON , between horses on the turn, swung outside in upper stretch and passed a tired rival. SCOPELLO , three deep on the turn, chased to mid stretch then gave way. STORMCATSONG remained near the inner rail and weakened in upper stretch.
