Chart notes
TAPITURES ACTOR pressed the pace two-wide, chased BASILE into the stretch, gradually wore down that rival, and was up in the last jump. BASILE broke on top set a pressured pace into the stretch, turned back all challengers, and led every step but the last one. PEEK FACTOR lost footing exiting the stall at the start, then rushed up inside to join the early pace battle, waited for a room around the turn and into the stretch, came off the rail before the sixteenth pole, but was not doing enough in the late stages. SUPER IVONNE dwelt at the start to give the rest of the field a head start, kept to the inside, steadily advanced to be in contention by the top of the stretch, but could not sustain the bid well enough to pose a late threat. SUNNY SAN LEON tracked close up five-wide, continued wide through the turn and into the stretch, and was mildly gaining in the late stages. DARK DUTCHESS pressed the early pace four-wide, moved up to make a bid for the lead at the quarter pole, then lacked the needed late kick in the stretch and was outfinished. WAVING BYE off slowly, tracked six-wide down the backstretch, then four-wide through the turn, loomed a threat at the quarter pole, was outkicked and unable to improve.
