Chart notes
SPA CITY GIRL got away well, tracked in cover through the turn, switched out to the three path approaching the stretch, surged to the lead past the three-sixteenths marker, and went unchallenged to the finish line. BELLAVININO was slow to begin, chased at the rear of the main pack, navigated through traffic through the turn and stretch, finished willingly, and gained second. RUMPUS hustled away, settled off the pace, steadied off heels in upper stretch, responded when asked to quicken, and moved up to gain the third prize. SALTWATER TAFFY dropped to mid-pack after an even beginning, gave an even effort from there, while never a serious threat. PHUNK jumped out to the early lead in the two-path, was overtaken for the lead in upper stretch and then outfinished in the final furlong. MAGIC GLASS was last away, chased the field to the stretch, and outfinished a handful of rivals late. SHERI'S PRADA raced very wide down the backstretch, continued through the turn, then could not make up any ground late. JALAPENA LENA pressed the pace two-deep then weakened in upper stretch. TRUE CHIEF hustled up the inside to join the early pace, steadied near the three-furlong pole, tried to come back but faltered in mid-stretch.
