Chart notes
WILD WARRIOR , bumped and forced outward a bit by HOLLYWOOD IMPORT leaving the gate, corrected and edged up three wide into the first turn, prompted outside the leader while tapered down to about the two path, was put on a hard chase leaving the three eighths, steadied when in close between rivals near the quarter pole, regrouped to edged back up, altered out past mid stretch, was floated out briefly near the sixteenth pole, responded to a right handed ask then closed determinedly outside CODE OF SILENCE to prove best in the final yards. CODE OF SILENCE settled outside LET'S GO LANDO early on while too far back, angled three wide then brushed with that foe when advancing into the far turn, sustained progress under a hearty ride past the five sixteenths, forged to command under a drive nearing the furlong grounds, wandered outward when clearing nearing the sixteenth pole, straightened away, kept on gamely but just failed to deny the winner's outer charge. LET'S GO LANDO settled off the pace while saving ground, eased out and made contact with CODE OF SILENCE near the far turn, worked between foes then shifted back inside, edged up through a narrow rail opening leaving mid stretch, continued willingly but wasn't quite good enough. HOLLYWOOD IMPORT broke outward and bumped the winner, righted and was sent to the front, moved clear leaving the seven eighths then dropped closer to the inner rail to set the pace, edged away a bit exiting the far turn, dug in when collared in upper stretch, fought on past the furlong grounds then weakened late. LUNDI LOOT had speed to spar inside HOLLYWOOD IMPORT into the first turn, rated back from between foes soon after then again near the three quarter pole, dropped inside to stalk, failed to kick on leaving the three eighths and faded.
