Chart notes
MIKEL W contested the early pace inside of two rivals, pulled clear past the half-mile marker, and went unchallenged through the late stages, drawing away in the end. TURN NORTH last early, advanced four-wide through the turn continued to run on through the stretch and finished best of the rest to claim the second prize. BOBBY BRINKLEY raced inside with the tracking group, came into the stretch a clear second, failed to last but finished well clear of the next horse. TIZABLING vied three-wide for the early lead, backed off before the half, tried to re-bid on the turn, chased MIKEL W under a drive and weakened in upper stretch. TOO MUCH ACTION hopped at the start, then quickly moved up to join the rest, came four-wide into the stretch, and passed tired foes. JOSH'S DREAM chased two-deep in the second flight, then could not generate much of a finish in the late stages. UNBRIDLED BLING contested the pace for a quarter mile, dropped out and tired.
