Chart notes
BYE BYE PALMER vied with BOOTSCOOT for the early lead, gained a slight advantage at the quarter then responded when headed by SHESALITTLEDEVIL nearing the eighth pole to regain the lead late and gradually edge clear. SHESALITTLEDEVIL hesitated at the start to get away well behind the field, then moved up along the inside nearing the far turn, swung out to be four-wide nearing the quarter pole, took the lead nearing the eighth pole but was unable to match strides with BYE BYE PALMER late in a game try. LUCINDA WHO prompted the pace to the stretch racing three-wide and held on well for third. FREE LANE settled in the back early, angled out to be five-wide nearing the quarter pole but lacked the needed late response. DASH N CASH was close-up early racing along the inside, came three-wide into the stretch and weakened. BOOTSCOOT vied for the lead from along the inside to near the stretch and tired. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO TYE START BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FIINISH.
