Chart notes
MCCLUSKY tracked inside, was ridden along behind the pacesetter into the far turn, tipped out to the three path at the top of the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew ahead late. CANE CREEK ROAD dictated terms along the inside turning into the backstretch, was cued passing the three-eighths pole, dug in from the two path down the stretch, but was overtaken by an outer foe in the closing stages. DOS VICIOS was wellback in the three path, pushed along around the far turn, angled out to the nine path at the top of the lane, and rallied late for show. BROTHER REID raced off the pace in the two path, was coaxed along from the three path around the far turn, floated out to the seven path in upper stretch, and improved late but just missed the minors. LEVON had a slow start, pulled in the three path around the first turn, moved up outside of rivals to stalk up the backstretch, was ridden in the three path around the far turn, but finished evenly. STRADIVARIAN stalked in the three path, bid under a drive in the two path around the far turn, swung out to the four path at the top of the lane, but faded. HOUSE OF LORDS trailed inside but made no impact. ITS THIEVERY was up close in the two path but retreated around the far turn.
