Chart notes
NEED TO KNOW BASIS settled in the three path around the first turn, rated between rivals up the backstretch, came under pressure passing the three-eighths pole, ranged up to take aim while angling out to the six path at the top of the lane, rallied past a dueling inner pair around the sixteenth, and went clear. OKLAHOMA JOE settled out in the four path around the first turn, pressed the inner pacesetter from there up the backstretch, was roused to bid in the three path passing the quarter, floated out to the five path at the top of the stretch, battled with the inner pacesetter into the final furlong, got overtaken by the rallying outer winner around the sixteenth, but edged out place. MR LOOOCH showed the way from the two path, continued under a hold into the far turn before coming under pressure passing the five-sixteenths, fought on down the lane, but flattened in the final sixteenth to show. RELISH THE RIDE trailed in the four path around the first turn, chased from there up the backstretch, was driven around the far turn, but faded from the six path in the stretch. GONE IN A FLASH tracked inside of an outer pair along the rail up the backstretch but retreated around the far turn.
