Chart notes
SHANE'S WONDER vied outside for the early lead, cleared off to set the pace in the two path, showed the way on the turn, responded when roused in the stretch, drew clear and widened under urging. PONDER AND DREAM vied for the early lead, then stalked, tracked close up on the rail, tracked on the turn, angled off the rail for the drive, rallied and dug in gamely to the finish. GOLD IN MY HANDS stalked three wide, chased three wide on the turn, rallied into the stretch and dug in gamely outside to the finish. RESPIGHI was off a bit slow, raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. J CODY steadied near the six furlong marker, then raced off the pace inside, came wide into the stretch and had no rally. BALA DE PLATA raced close up on the inside, chased inside and weakened. LORD CHATHAM raced off the rail, off the pace and did not factor.
