Chart notes
CLAVIN settled in the clear and off of a contested early pace, edged up off the rail then bid three deep mid turn, dueled outside FLATTER MY DAD from the head of the lane, moved to a short lead a furlong out, kept on under firm left handed asks and edged clear at the wire. FLATTER MY DAD took over between runners early then edged clear, set the pace in about the two path, sparred inside the winner through the drive and held on well to the wire. GALLO , three deep early, pressed outside FLATTER ME DAD into the turn, was caught between runners mid turn, stayed willingly to the furlong grounds then faded. REBEL PRINCE , sluggish from the gate, was urged along off the rail, came four to five wide for the drive and lacked a rally. EL PAPACITO sped to a brief early lead, ceded to outer foes then stayed close into the turn, was under asking pursuing the leading trio past the five sixteenths, failed to kick on nearing mid stretch and faded. QUAIN was outrun.
