Chart notes
MY BOY STAR led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. MUSIC ON THE RUN tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and chased on to the wire. JAMALAMADINGDONG pressed the pace on the outside early, navigated the bend from the two path and gave way in the final furlong. GUN POLICY raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and finished evenly. UNDERTAKER bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and never threatened. GRAY OBSESSION bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to chase the leader between horses through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and faded from there. FIFTY TWO FIFTY raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and made no bid. AMERICAN MELODY stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and tired in the stretch.
