Chart notes
MAGA KAI broke a step slowly, recovered and stalked the early pace three deep, bid three wide to upper stretch then dug in when challenged at the furlong pole, dueled HURRICANE SAYLOR to the final sixteenth, bested the game runner-up in deep stretch and held late to prevail. HURRICANE SAYLOR showed early speed, pressed the pace between rivals and two wide into the turn, vied for the lead to upper stretch, fought gamely while dueling MAGA KAI into the final furlong, was outfinished in deep stretch and bested the rest. SWEET HELLO settled off of the early pace and saved ground to the turn, was caught in tight to upper stretch then angled four wide nearing the furlong pole, could not reel in the top pair late and stayed on to earn the show. METHODS sent for early lead, set the moderate pace to the quarter pole, met oncoming bids to mid-stretch, faded in the final sixteenth. SNOW FLURRY rated off of the early pace, tracked five wide to the quarter pole, swung six wide to upper stretch, chased to the furlong pole, no final kick. DELIA broke alertly then took back, coaxed two wide along the turn, chased to mid-stretch, gave way in the drive. BOSTON PRINCESS close up to the early pace, chased four wide into the turn, no response into upper stretch, weakened. O'NEILL'S LEGACY broke in air, spotted field to begin, trailed throughout. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING O'NEILL'S LEGACY AND DETERMINED THAT RUNNER CAUSED HER OWN ISSUES AT THE BREAK, AND NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
