CAT'S CRADLE rated well off the pace and just off the inside down the back stretch, knifed inside rivals upper, gaining ground along the rail, bumped in deep stretch when JAC'S COCOABELLA lugged in, dug in gamely, conceded grudgingly. ELOPEDATTHEDERBY tracked outside runners down the backside, three wide pursuit leaving the three eighths marker, finished willingly for the show. PIRINOLA broke alertly, assumed the lead when EBONY'S SECERT took back living the first turn, set the pace off the rail down the backside, collared leaving the quarter pole, evened out through the final sixteenth. EBONY'S SECRET broke alertly, pace around the first turn, rated back nearing the half mile marker, pressed inside into the far turn, moved out five deep for the stretch drive, had no late kick. KERKYRA tracked off the pace into the far turn, pressed five wide between runners into the lane, came up empty late. MOBIL DREAM STAR saved ground mid-pack, urged along inside around the far turn, under pressure upper, weakened through the stretch. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY AND JOCKEY'S OBJECTION LODGED IN THIS RACE, THE RIDER OF CAT'S CRADLE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF JAC'S COCOABELLA FOR INTEREFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH, AFTER THE JUDGE'S REVIEW, JAC'S COCOALLA WAS DISQUIAFLIED AND PLACED SECOND.
