JOYOUS SONG vied for command alongside TUDOX DAHLIA, took charge nearing the three eighths marker, kicked clear of that one before meeting a bid from HUMORESQUE in the upper stretch, kept to task for a firm finish. HUMORESQUE was rated along the inside, cued three wide through the turn to enter the stretch on the heels of JOYOUS SONG, held at bay by the winner, clear of the rest for the place honors. SPARKLING RUBY opted to be the early trailer, passed tiring foes in the stretch. TUDOX DAHLIA vied for early command alongside JOYOUS SONG, conceded the lead approaching the three eighths, faded down the stretch. CARDINAL WAR CRY tracked the pace three wide, began asking midway through the turn but failed to respond, trailed by the three sixteenths.
