Chart notes
LUCKY BERRY settled off the pace and saved ground through the first turn, slowly advanced three wide up the backstretch, roused at the three eighths to circle the field and enter the stretch dueling with TURKISH FLAME, dug in for a narrow victory. TURKISH FLAME settled off the pace around the two path, cued three wide through the far turn to take charge just after the quarter, met a bid from LUCKY BERRY to duel down the stretch, finished gamely. MISCHIEVOUS SCOUT broke the gate prior to the start, vied for command in the early stages with SHE'S TRIPPIN until opting to shadow the pace midway through the first turn, shifted out four wide rounding the far turn and chased the dueling leaders down the stretch. SODA settled off the pace along the inside, began asking in the far turn to close in on the pace, had no room in the upper stretch and tipped out to the three path at the eighth to pass a couple foes. LILLESAND was off a step slow, trailed for most, shifted out three wide in the stretch and found best stride late to pick off a couple foes. SCARLETT'S LAW stalked the pace from the two path, faded down the stretch. SHE'S TRIPPIN vied for with MISCHEVIOUS SCOUT in the early stages, claimed sole command midway through the first turn, dictated terms until giving way at the top of the stretch, retreated then on.
