Chart notes

PLAYA DEL MAR pressed the pace on the outside, took the lead in the two path outside the three-eighths pole then moved to the three path, went clear outside the quarter-pole and drew off under strong urging to prove much the best. EGYPTIAN raced towards the front, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the three then four path on the turn and proved no match for the winner while well clear for the place. MOMENT'S NOTICE broke out at the start, raced just off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn and weakened while best of the rest. SUPERPOWER was urged along on the far outside, bumped with a rival while moving closer late on the backstretch, chased in the four then five path on the turn and tired. SEEKER'S HOPE stumbled at the start and was slow into stride, moved up to race just off the pace, chased inside for most of the turn then moved to the two path, spun into the stretch in the three path and came up empty. MIDDLE MARKET was hustled to the front, showed the way on the inside of a foe under urging, vied along the rail on the turn, was headed outside the three-eighths pole, dropped back passing the five-sixteenths pole and faded. ANTIETAM settled on the outside, moved in outside the three-quarter pole, bumped with a rival late on the backstretch, was roused in the three then four path on the turn, remained on his inside lead in the stretch and failed to respond.
