SIX MAGPIES (IRE) stalked from inside then moved into the two path, remained two wide to the far turn, paused behind rivals early on the bend, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, closed in on the leaders into the last sixteenth, put a head in front and held over the late run from the runner-up. DYNODAVE settle in the two path in the opening stages, eased over to the three path on the far turn, steered out widest for a clear run in the stretch, rallied seven deep in the last sixteenth and just missed. GOODFELLA (IRE) stalked from inside, ridden along the rail then two wide on the far turn, tipped out into the lane, challenged in upper stretch and got outkicked in the late stages. BAD TO THE BONES trailed two wide then along the rail, continued at the back on the far turn, chased outside a rival turning for home, rallied between runner in deep stretch but could not get by GOODFELL (IRE) for third. PRECISION (GB) rated three deep early, was closest in pursuit on the backstretch before challenging the leader from outside at the midway point, dueled around the far turn and took over past the quarter pole, resisted into the final sixteenth but succumbed to the pressure late. MILLBO BAGGINS stalked between rivals then moved inside, saved ground through the far turn, rallied up the fence in the lane but lacked the needed late punch. TYPHOON TOMMY showed the way early from inside, took pressure at the half-mile pole, dueled around the far turn and lost command late on the bend, stayed on to midstretch and weakened late. FIRE MOUNTAIN laid off the pace two then three wide, crept closer in the middle stages, stayed off the rail to the stretch, kept on through the lane but needed to find more. DO IT FOR DAVE was off a bit slow to begin, traveled on the inside towards the rear, hugged the rail to the stretch and failed to menace.
