Chart notes
MARKING CANYON settled along the inside, was caught in tight along the first turn then shuffled back into the backstretch, advanced outside of rivals along the backstretch, re-rallied four wide at the quarter marker, closed determinedly into the stretch, wore down foes in the final sixteenth and proved best late. CORRINA CORRINA settled to the first turn, made a three wide move between rivals into the backstretch, went up and pressed the decent pace between foes into the far turn, vied for the lead into the stretch, fought gamely into the final sixteenth, was outkicked late by MARKING CANYON and bested the rest. ANTONIOS MARK hopped then lost her path at the start and was last to begin, settled outside of rivals to the first turn, made a four wide move to the backstretch, pressed the pace three wide into the far turn then battled into the lane, could not keep pace with the top pair late and held for third. HOLY HANK hustled away from the start, assumed early command and showed the way to the first turn, engaged into the backstretch, set a pressured pace to the far turn, dug in into the stretch then could not hold off rivals into the final furlong and faded. I THINK I'M HERE broke out at the start and bothered outer rival leaving the gate, was well placed while saving ground into the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn then shifted out for the stretch drive, could not find the needed response at the furlong pole and did not threaten late. SAPELLO RIDDLER prominent in the early running, tracked the pace two to three wide along the first turn, took back into the backstretch and was well placed heading to the half-mile, outrun into the far turn, trailed to upper stretch and was empty in the lane. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START, SPECIFICALLY INVOLVING THE ACTIONS OF I THINK I'M HERE AND ANTONIOS MARK AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
