Chart notes
HEAT ALERT forced the pace outside, vied inside through the final turn then edged away in the stretch. TRUE CONNECTION settled off the leaders four wide then rallied late to gain the place. EARL OF DASSEL reserved close up, dueled the winner on the final turn and continued gamely to the finish. ASMODEUS led under pressure inside, lost the lead before the half then weakened slightly. FULLY COMMITTED firmly rated between rivals, was in tight at the top of the stretch and flattened out. MAJESTIC LION trailed early then narrowed gap while no threat. REAL CONVICTION saved ground early, swung wide into the stretch and was no factor. RIVER'S GAMBLE dropped back inside and was always outrun.
