Chart notes
STORMYLUX pressed the early pace from the inside, backed off a few lengths in the turn, came again to contest the lead from the inside at the three sixteenths, took charge at the eighth and held firm. GI GIS MAP settled off the pace, rallied along the inside of the stretch but came up just short. PLEASINGLY was lightly brushed by outer foe at the start, quickly took charge of a pressured pace, came under heavy pressure form SING A HAPPY SONG in the turn, shook that one off in the upper stretch before meeting a bid from STORMYLUX at the three sixteenths, gave way at the eighth and weakened to third. FLYIN BY brushed inner foe lightly at the start, trailed for most, closed willingly three wide to gain a couple positions. CESTRAND shadowed the pace, found position between runners in the stretch, flattened out. SING A HAPPY SONG moved up to press the early pace setter through the turn, retreated in the stretch.
