LOYAL CLEMENT jostled at the start, recovered to track early pace outside, chased four wide to quarter pole, vied upper stretch, shook free into the final sixteenth, edged clear late. J J VALENTIN broke in, showed early speed, disputed pace between and two wide into the turn, pressed to the quarter pole, met the bid of LOYAL CLEMENT to upper stretch, battled the winner to the final sixteenth, turned away in deep stretch and was a clear second. COMPLEX CAT stalked the early pace three deep, pressed the pace into the turn, vied into upper stretch, yielded to the top pair past the furlong pole and was a clear third. NOBLE SOUL broke out at the start, hustled to contest the early lead, took command and set a pressured pace into the turn, lost ground into upper stretch and faded in the lane. MR BRIZEL broke in, off slow, lagged to turn, no factor.
