Chart notes
LOST MY SHOE outrun early, advanced on the turn, angled out into the stretch and edged away under urging. CAPTAIN FANCY dueled outside, led briefly in mid-stretch and continued gamely. STINGER BEE earned narrow advantage inside then weakened in the stretch. GAVONE advanced three wide on the turn then flattened out in the stretch. LECANTO trailed for half mile then passed fading rivals. SPLITTING STONES raced wide off the leaders and lacked a response. UP THE KINGDOM saved ground and was never a factor.
