CAPS D'ORO showed good early speed to set the pace, drew off on the turn then was kept to task in late stretch while clear. TIJUANA MONEY was bumped hard at the start then chased the pace while two wide, made a bid in the stretch but came up empty. WHAT A THRILL was chasing the pace while inside, saved ground on the turn then was no threat in the stretch drive. IT'S YESENIA was inside and in tight going into the turn, was taken up off heels then made a mild rally but was no threat. POLAR PATROL was shuffled back early then rallied three wide on the turn to upper stretch but was no threat. VIVA LA TIGRESS chased the early pace while three wide, was used up then faltered in the stretch. OM MY GOSH was four wide into the turn and used up and stopped. A steward's inquiry was held concerning the run into the turn. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of IT'S YESENIA against the rider of WHAT A THRILL for interference into the turn.
