Chart notes
CICCIOBELLO went to the front and showed the way, vied in the two then three path on the turn, shook off a foe at the quarter-pole, extended the advantage while asked in upper stretch, came under a right-handed crop while beginning to drift out inside the furlong marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. KAVANAUGH was taken in hand near the seven-eighths pole then well placed, chased inside on the turn, came off the rail in the stretch and gained late to get the place. LOTSA TROUBLE was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four then five path, pursued the winner in the stretch, gained on that foe late and earned the show. REMI'S MOON was urged while showing early speed between horses then chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two then three path, gained on the winner late and earned the last spot in the superfecta. SHARED SUCCESS settled on the outside, angled in with five furlongs to run then reached the rail, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole and failed to rally. HEY TOBY tracked the pace on the outside, chased late on the backstretch, made a bid in the three then four path on the turn, lost touch with the winner into the stretch and tired. PROVE WORTHY was last to commence then dropped well behind under urging, rounded the turn in the five path and showed little.
