Chart notes
MATH TUTOR broke fast and went straight to the front, showed the way with a clear advantage, extended the advantage while inside on the turn, drew off under the crop into the final furlong and proved much the best under a strong hand-ride from that point to the finish. TOGA D'ORO moved out while urged along at the rear, went around the turn in the five path, spun into the stretch in the six path and finished willingly for the place. THIRTEEN G'S moved out early then was ridden along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the three then four path and lacked the needed response while able to get the show. INTO INSPIRATION was away alertly, raced just off the pace, brushed with a foe nearing the nine-sixteenths pole and was kept in behind the leader, chased along the rail on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and weakened. SIR KARTRITE tracked the pace on the outside, angled in approaching the nine-sixteenths pole then bumped lightly with an opponent, chased in the two then three path on the turn, swerved out to the five path into the stretch and came up empty.
