Chart notes
MAJESTIC NOIR tracked the pace three wide, closed in under a loose rein through the turn and entered the stretch in a competitive position, drove past the leader under left handed encouragement and held firm. SUPREME HONOR opted to be the early trailer, rallied well five wide down the stretch to put a head up for the place award. LEO'S ROCKET bobbled at the start, vied for command alongside FINDING CANDY, claimed a narrow lead through the turn, met a bid from MAJESTIC NOIR at the top of the stretch and gave way at the eighth, got out-finished by a late drive to miss the place award. BACK NINE STAKES shadowed the pace from the inside, shifted out four wide in the upper stretch but came up empty. WIN N WIN chased the pace between foes, backed off through the turn, showed little in the stretch. MO RAPIDO settled not too far off the pace, took to the inside of the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. FINDING CANDY vied for command with LEO'S ROCKET in the early stages, conceded the lead at the top of the turn and pressed the pace, began retreating at the quarter.
