CASTLE CHAOS bobbled at the start but broke with the rest of the field, stalked the pace on the outside, was coaxed along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, made a bid late on the backstretch, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, shook clear into upper stretch then was roused, remained clear under a drive into the final sixteenth, drifted out late and just held under strong urging. MOMENT'S NOTICE settled comfortably off the pace, was roused in the two then three path on the turn, began to drift out just after turning into the stretch then came out further while put to a left-handed crop, was straightened by the rider outside the furlong marker and switched to a right-handed crop, gained on the winner into the final sixteenth, drew alongside that foe late but just missed while clear for the place. ASLEEP AT EIGHT was hustled to the front then showed the way, lost the lead in the two path early on the turn then dropped to the inside, dropped back into upper stretch, moved out near the furlong marker and weakened. GOOD LORD was well placed down the backstretch, dropped back into the turn, moved from the rail to the two path under urging on that bend, spun into the stretch in the four path then drifted out and failed to respond.
