MODICA stalked in the early stages, pulled his way to the front between horses at the five furlong marker, took over, showed the way into the stretch, responded when roused and held well under urging in the two or three path. LIGHT MY WAY vied inside for the early lead, then chased inside on the far turn, dug in gamely inside in the stretch run and came up second best. UNION EXPRESS vied outside for the early lead, then chased two wide on the far turn, dug in gamely outside in the stretch and was outkicked. PRAETORIAN GUARD tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and had no rally. RILEY'S ROCKSTAR raced off the pace inside, chased between horses on the far turn and tired. RUN CORY RUN raced off the rail, off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and tired.
