Chart notes
GRINNELL bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked behind the pacesetter, was cued from the two path passing the quarter, angled out to the three path at the top of the stretch, ran on to bid passing the sixteenth pole, and inched forward to get up at the wire. COLONEL BROCK bumped with an outer foe at the start, set the pace inside, waited around turn, was roused into the stretch, dug in gamely, but got nailed by an outer foe at the wire. RIVER'S BENCHMARK stalked outside, was coaxed along in the four path around the turn, took aim in the five path at the top of the lane, and kept on for show. COME HOME chased in the five path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, and stayed on down the stretch. MR. MOUNT DUTTON pressed the pace in the four path, vied for the lead in the two path around the turn, but faded in the final furlong. BYE BYE RETIREMENT was hustled from in range between rivals, ridden in the two path around the turn, but finished evenly. MY SWEET FORZA had a slow start, trailed in the two path and did not factor. TEMPTING MISCHIEF tracked in the four path but weakened.
