LEVIATHAN AXE rated inside just off the vying four sum down the backside, took aim five wide into the lane, hooked DEVIOUS LOVER nearing the furlong marker, dueled outside that rival through the final sixteenth, dug in gamely, edged out under the wire. BOCA GUY rated off the pace and off the rail down the backside, sent to the attack between runners leaving the quarter pole, inside through the final sixteenth, finished willingly, well clear for the show. SAND CREEK rated between around the first turn, cut the corner upper, running on the wrong lead through the lane, finished one paced through the wire. TEJAS away in good order, vied three wide between runners into the far tur, chased five wide into the lane, had no late punch. FRANCHUCHIE raced well off the pace four wide down the back stretch, never threatened. REASON TO BELIEVE hopped at the start, saved ground well off the pace into the far turn, had no late impact. BUTCHY BOY lunged hit gate at the start, sent into the first turn, vied between into the far turn, weakened through the stretch. WORK ZONE hustled up into the first turn, pressed four wide down the backside, under pressure from the quarter pole, faltered through the stretch.
