ASTROLOGYSPROTEGE vied for the early lead, saved ground, drove clear down the stretch and was kept to the task. ACHROMEDOUTCAT challenged on the front end, proved no match late for the winner, but was a clear second. F T W SLAM raced near the middle of the field in the beginning, came around the turn on the outside, made a wide bid and proved no match for the top two. G'WILDCAT raced in the middle of the pack, made a mild bid, but was no factor. LAURI'S WISH raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside and faded. LEOBOBANNA raced within contention, weakened and lacked a late kick. AVERY'S GEM raced evenly near the back, finished wide and was no threat.
