CLAIRITA pressed the leader from the three path, vied down the backstretch, forged an advantage while in the two path and between horses into the far turn, dug in as a wider rival offered a challenge entering the lane, dug in to battle while that one whlie hanging on her left lead but got bested late. METFARDEH tracked in the four path, moved to press the top pair at the half mile pole, maintained striking range in the three path and between horses around the far turn, but got outkicked leaving the quarter pole then sustained pursuit of the top pair through the final furlong to prove best of the rest. IVORY AND EBONY stalked near the inside, chased in the two path around the far turn, encountered brief traffic entering the lane then stayed on mildly.
